idleMinefield
How to Play - The Basics
Objective: The goal of the game is to uncover all the squares that do not contain mines without detonating any mines.
Starting the Game: Click on any square in the grid to start the game.
Uncovering Squares: If you uncover a square that doesn't contain a mine, you'll see a number. This number tells you how many mines are present in the eight squares that surround it. This information is used to deduce where mines exist in the grid.
Flagging Mines: If you think a square contains a mine, you can right-click (or depending on the version, a long touch) to place a flag on it. This serves as a reminder that you believe a mine is there and prevents accidental clicks on that square.
Safe Squares: If an uncovered square has a number and there are exactly that many flags surrounding it, all other adjacent squares are safe to uncover.
Winning and Losing: The game is won when all mine squares are flagged.
Scoring: When the game is won, the player is granted flags equal to the number of mines that were flagged. Larger sized Minefields grant more flags per mine.
How to Play - Player Resources
Flags: Flags are awarded to the player when the game resets. Players are given one flag per mine flagged at the start. Later in the game, each invasion increases the flags awarded by one.
Mines: Mines can be removed from the grid after unlocking the mine retrival upgrade. Mines can be sold for money, some groups may buy mines for more money, however selling to they might ruin your reputation.
Money: Money is gained by selling mines, and can be used to purchase military units and upgrades.
Reputation: Reputation is gained and lost by selling mines to various countries. Having exceptionally low or high reputation unlocks some unique upgrades.
Military Power: Military Power is used to invade nations, giving you more land to sweep for mines (larger grid). A larger grid also retruns more mines and flags!

can you make the screen fit on mobile devices?
i got the upgrade that multiplies sweepers by flaggers, and it seems to be working but the display is showing that the sweepers are multiplying the flaggers by zero
The challenges are cool but I wish they have chording because having to manually click every tile is a real pain in the ass
what's the equation used for getting golden flags
Any ideas what positive/negative reputation unlocks all the extra military upgrades/units
5k it seem
Love the game, hate the UI....
will this update soon
Thank God I know how to beat Minesweeper
The auto-flag knows where the flags are, so there seems to be no need to buy the minesweeper to autoclick spaces.
Actually, later in the game, it will be useful
Ah, ok, that's good.
How do you get golden flags?
It's based on the number of invasions you have when you prestige (you need several invasions before the first golden flag).
the auto seller should upgrade to realm of equilibrium when you get that upgrade
the game is crashing alot on me do tot he high resource usage
Can we have alternative to right click for flag placement?
right click does place mines tho
And opens browser menu. SO it's right-click - Esc - right-click - Esc ...
it doesn't open browser menu for me
speed demon challange is to hard
For some reason, after I prestiged the first time, the auto-reset price jumped to 9.99k flags, meaning I would need to manually reset 3.33k times...
I got back up to 13 sweepers, 8 flaggers, and 2 retrievers, and have mine sales unlocked, but I can't sell mines or buy military to increase my flags further. Essentially I am bricked.
Refreshing fixed this bug for me
Genuinely one of my favorite games on here, keep up the amazing work dude!
Minor proposal: Napalm was developed by Louis Frederick Fieser (US) and used by US...might be wrong to put it on the other side...
Save you the trouble of going through this whole comment, Napalm is definitely a weapon of foul reputation.
Napalm is a substance that burns persistently even in the absence of oxygen and WAS used by the US... on the city of Kyoto, the former capital of Japan before the napalm razed it to the ground (hey, when your walls are made of paper, fire is a legit problem). Now the capital of Japan is in Tokyo, which is an entirely different location, despite being a literal anagram of the former capital's name. It was also utilized in the Vietnam War, and in the Korean War too. By Americans. In heavily forested areas.
Dropping a substance that refuses to be extinguished on cities made primarily of wood and paper, or in dense forests, is kind of a dick move. Would you excuse the usage of the Atomic Bomb as well? Because that was also made by the USA, and it was unilaterally BANNED by the UN for being TOO destructive. No nation is perfect. And Napalm is a very, VERY malicious weapon. It only stops burning when the fuel runs out. Oxygen? Not required. In oxygen-deprived conditions, it will stay dormant until oxygen returns while consuming flammable materials. it burns underwater. It BURNS. IT BURNS. The MOST PAINFUL SENSATION that any human can possibly endure, is being cooked alive. During the Vietnam War, a Buddhist monk performed a rather horrific protest by dousing himself in gasoline and lighting it on fire. He immolated himself. His protest worked at getting attention, but damn bro, did you have to make yourself Well Done? Fire has always been a symbol of war and conflict. Napalm is fire 2.0. Using it in a military sense is 100% dishonorable. It's made of gasoline and aluminum filings, IIRC. It wasn't much of an invention to come up with and could have legitimately been an accident.
Remember: there's more to good and bad than which nation you are looking at. There are intent, motive, methods, and alternative methods. If you have to use Napalm because you are out of options, then sure, go ahead. But if you have alternatives... use those instead. Be the better man, and not torture your enemies. Be like the Samurai were supposed to be, and be honorable about the way you treat your enemies. You will get more people helping you when you lose a fight that way.
Thank you
None of the options have anything in them when I click on them and I dont see any money indicator
Nvm I just suck at minesweeper
the X for closing a box does not appear if you have dark mode for your browser
how is prestige golden flags calculated?
Based on number of invades
i like it
How to get golden Flags?

not a idle game
it definitely is, unlock some upgrades and you’ll see :)
It is....
